The exquisite duvet cover and its accessories were hand made in Kashmir. Crewel embroidery originated in the east, migrated to Greece, Egypt and Rome and traveled with the Romans to England. The English reintroduced it to India in 1700’s and from there it has come to us. Woolen embroidery on pure Indian cotton.
